How does MyAthanClock work?
MyAthanClock calculates prayer times on-device, based on your location and other settings. You can quickly update these settings through the companion app.
What prayer settings can I modify?
You can customize the calculation method (e.g. ISNA, MWL), juristic method for Asr (Hanafi or Shafi’i), high latitude adjustments, and set individual prayer time offsets to fine-tune accuracy for your location.
Which calculation method are supported?
MyAthanClock supports the most widely used and internationally recognized prayer time calculation methods. You can choose the one that aligns with your local mosque or personal preference:
- MWL
- ISNA
- Egypt
- Makkah
- Karachi
- Tehran
- Jafari
- Custom Fajr / Isha Angles
You can change your calculation method anytime through the app, and MyAthanClock will automatically update prayer times accordingly.
Is a WiFi connection required?
No. Wi-Fi is optional. MyAthanClock works fully offline once it’s set up. You can connect to Wi-Fi at any time through the companion app if you’d like.
Wi-Fi is only required for:
- Qur’an streaming
- Uploading custom Athan audio
- Software updates
All core features work without Wi-Fi.
What comes in the box?
You’ll receive a MyAthanClock, a USB-C cable, and a wall plug.
How does it help build my prayer routine?
MyAthanClock helps keeps prayer top of mind throughout the day with Athan, and visible upcoming prayer times.
How loud is it?
MyAthanClock is plenty loud for bedrooms, and apartments. The volume is fully adjustable, so you can set it anywhere from soft and gentle to loud enough to hear clearly across your space.
